Some of the attractions around Tombstone: ![]() Well worth visiting is the World Famous Rattle Snake Ranch. The ranch is located about 13 miles North West on Gleeson Rd. They specialize in Rattlesnake and Apache Indian Crafts. Open daily until sunset.
This is an retired turquoise mining ghost town, located about 15 miles North East of Tombstone on Gleeson Rd. The Old Jail and School House are still standing. Some of the old adobe buildings are still standing today. Charleston's post office was established April 17, 1879 and was closed October 24, 1888. Charleston was the mill town for nearby Tombstone. ![]() Managed by the National Park Service, this historic park is located at the southern end of the Huachuca Mountains along the U.S.-Mexico border within sight of the San Pedro River Valley. Wildlife: Some species you may see include, Scorpions, Javelina (wild pigs), Rattlesnakes, Coyotes, Mule Deer, Hawks, Jack Rabbits, Mountain Lions, Bobcats, White-tailed Deer and Roadrunners.
